We are seeking to appoint a motivated and talented teacher of Drama to start with us in September 2025. This post is suitable for a well-qualified candidate or an ECT looking for a supportive and well-structured ECT programme. Our students learn in a modern dedicated performance theatre with exceptional facilities and dedicated teaching space. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational professional who has a real love for their subject, and the drive to use creative approaches in their teaching. You will join our pioneering and highly successful faculty alongside English and Media, also working closely with Music, and the Practical Arts faculty to take an active role in the wider school community. There may be the opportunity to teach English as a second subject.

Drama is a popular subject at Tolworth Girls’ School & Sixth Form, with many students opting to take it for GCSE and A level. The faculty is committed to ensuring that students are given opportunities to develop their learning with a wide range of extra-curricular experiences, trips and clubs. We frequently collaborate with schools in the local area. Our students from all year groups were fabulous in our latest school production of ‘Hairspray’, performing to a sold-out audience for 4 nights in the Spring term.
