Keltbray Infrastructure Services Ltd - Energy Division are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their brand Energy - Transmission team based in Norfolk. This role entails overall responsibility for the profit and loss of standard/complex project(s) while ensuring delivery on time and to the highest standards of safety, sustainability, environmental, and quality practices.
To maintain a collaborative working environment, the Project Manager will ensure that client, internal, and other stakeholders' requirements are effectively managed, while also motivating and engaging employees to deliver. The role supports the winning of a number of projects in accordance with the Power T&D Strategic Plan.
Responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with the Head of Transmission, Regional Manager, and Support Functions to deliver project(s) and enhance solid working relationships across the business.
2. Plan, control, and manage the delivery of project(s) utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality safely.
3. Instill a strong safety culture and develop the capability of project team(s) to take personal responsibility through strong visible leadership.
4. Drive compliance with all business policies, procedures, and governance.
5. Lead on developing a high-performance culture of teamwork.
6. Communicate positively and listen actively across the business.
7. Support the tender process.
8. Constantly seek out talent for the future.
9. Manage client expectations while promoting the value we bring.
Experience
1. Proven experience at Management Level.
2. Strong People Management with a proven track record in tendering and managing standard/complex/major projects, including subcontractors.
3. Commercial awareness with knowledge of budgetary and financial control.
4. Excellent relationship management skills.
5. Ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions to complex operational and commercial problems.
6. Comfortable with ambiguity, able to identify sensitive issues and lead cross-functional teams towards solutions.
