The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £14.09 - £15.14
Temporary until 2nd April 2026.
This is a 39-week sessional post i.e., working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days.
Days and hours of work:
Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday, 08:30-15:25
Friday, 08:30-12:15
To start 28th April 2025.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
Good standard of general education.
Experience of working with or caring for children with additional support needs.
PVG Membership
This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. All preferred candidates for posts carrying out regulated work with these groups are required to become a PVG Scheme member prior to any formal offer of employment being made by East Lothian Council.
