Hours: Full-Time shifts (7am-3pm & 11am-7pm) working 5 days/7

Our client, a leading national organisation, is seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of cleaning and catering staff, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in a critical health care environment. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent career potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise a team of 5-12 cleaning and catering staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
2. Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage across multiple sites.
3. Monitor cleaning procedures and ensure adherence to established protocols and standards.
4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain quality control.
5. Communicate effectively with area managers regarding daily tasks and operational updates.
6. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to schedule and service level agreements (SLAs).
7. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
8. Act as a point of contact for staff inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
9. Deputise for the Senior Cleaning Manager when required.
Qualifications and Skills:
10. Proven experience in a supervisory role, ideally within the cleaning, health care or hospitality industry.
11. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
12. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
13. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment.
14. Basic IT skills (e.g., email, scheduling software).
15. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
16. Experience in a health care setting is preferred but not essential.
