Time Appointments are working on behalf of a well-established landscaping Business in Colchester who are looking for an Internal Sales & Key Account Support to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Making proactive calls out to existing customers, upselling, and cross-selling
2. Progressing sales orders, answering stock enquiries, delivery queries and issue resolution
3. Ensuring sufficient stock available at the stock locations to fulfil orders and meet customers’ expectations
4. Arranging haulage in line with the customer’s requirements.
5. Managing online Shopify and eBay sales
6. Report handling for any shortages, unexpected delays, or lead-time issues.
7. Ensuring customer complaints and issues are investigated and resolved satisfactorily
8. Supporting the Regional Sales Directors in the planning and management of Key Accounts
9. Working with the Directors and Clients to ensure customer deadlines are met
10. Continually evaluating and reviewing sales performance, processes, and procedures; recommending and managing any agreed improvements, and monitor outcome
11. Strong working knowledge of Excel, great organisational skills, and good communication and telephone manner.
What do you need to apply for this exciting opportunity?
12. Existing experience in a similar key account role.
13. Experience of dealing with buying groups or national accounts would be advantageous.
14. Industry background within construction or a merchant would be desirable.
15. Strong sales, customer service and relationship building skills.
16. Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment and a determination to succeed.
17. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – An ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
18. A flexible approach to work with the ability to work without direct supervision.
19. Great attention to details and a “can do” attitude.
