We are looking for a permanent Warehouse/ Fine Art Packer for our client based in Crawley.
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Salary: Paying up to £35,000 per annum
Duties:
* Professional handling, packing and crating of sensitive and valuables
* Packing and crating for local, domestic and international transport
* Professionally and efficiently wrap, load, span, tie in artworks within a truck/container to keep them safe and stable during transport
* Inspecting of products to determine how, where, when, or if, to touch them and how to pack for transport
* Visit client premises to conduct site surveys, to ascertain access, best practises etc
* Expertly Installing products, sculptures and high-end furniture
* Efficiently handling paperwork including bills of lading, labelling, timesheets and detailed condition reports with photos
* Communicating with operations team throughout the day
* Thorough understanding and use of proper packing materials for all surfaces
Key Attributes
* Thorough understanding and a minimum of 5 years experience with industry standards for handling, packing, transporting, and installing high end furniture, art and antiques
* Ability to efficiently wrap/pack sensitive and valuable furniture, works of art and antiques
* Be physically fit and have the ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding or mechanized lifts
