Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced LGV Team Manager to work mixed day and night shifts and to lead and manage our busy transport department. This key role will oversee all aspects of our LGV operation, including fleet, facilities, and people management, ensuring efficient and professional service delivery across a variety of shift patterns. This role requires a highly adaptable and results-oriented individual who thrives under pressure. You must possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills to effectively manage workloads and respond to changing business demands. A calm and focused demeanor, especially during peak periods, is essential. Strong communication skills, including the ability to adapt your style to different situations, are crucial for effective collaboration and stakeholder management. Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work are also vital for success in this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Operational Excellence: Managing daily operations, shift and fleet management, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. People Management: Leading and motivating a high-performing team of drivers, fostering a positive and engaging work environment. Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with all relevant regulations, including those of the Traffic Commissioner. Customer Focus: Exceeding customer expectations through exceptional service delivery and proactive issue resolution. Safety & Compliance: Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols. Representation: Representing the company brand professionally both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee shift operations across various patterns. Working Mixed Day and Night Shifts Skills/Requirements Minimum: Management of people in teams, External internal and external customer services skills.
