We’re thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a large and rapidly growing European manufacturing company, for a Purchase Ledger Clerk in Deeside, North Wales. ROLE - Purchase Ledger Clerk
This position is suited to someone who who’s eager to work with a forward-thinking organisation and play a significant role in shaping the finance function.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you’ll dive into a range of important duties, including:
Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes. Inputting and verifying invoices in SAP (a highly valued skill!). Processing employee expenses and handling supplier queries via phone and email. Requesting credit notes, reconciling supplier statements, and managing new supplier setups. Providing invaluable support to the Accounting Manager and the wider finance team as needed. YOU
The ideal candidate is confident, driven, part AAT qualified or fully qualified, and skilled in building relationships with both internal and external partners. You’ll need to be self-motivated, have a keen eye for detail, and have a solid understanding of invoicing VAT rules. Experience with SAP and Microsoft packages is highly desirable as is someone from a manufacturing company.
