We are looking for someone to challenge the status quo, who can radically improve our ability to deliver customer-facing projects at scale and in alignment with program management and governance best practices. The primary objective of the new Customer Operations Program Manager role is to own the successful delivery of our portfolio of Customer facing projects including new business implementations, platform migration and service expansion projects, to accelerate time-to-value for our customers and build our ability to scale project delivery. The Program Manager is a senior member of the Professional Services team, striving for rapid value realization and prolonged health status post go-live. This role is a hybrid player/coach, meaning this role will own the overall program strategy and direction of participating teams while also leading selected high-impact projects directly. This is an opportunity for an experienced program manager to take a high-profile position in the customer org providing oversight and direction across multiple high impact, customer-facing projects while integrating program management best practices throughout the organisation. Responsibilities Design, develop and manage the Customer Operations book of work governance model and stakeholder reporting Directly oversee key customer projects while also guiding and supporting project managers and contributors across multiple initiatives. Plan and define the scope of the program and individual projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop and track project plans, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery. Drive efficiency in program execution, continuously improving processes to scale project delivery. Manage risks and issues, proactively identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies. Ensure seamless platform migrations, driving customer success and adoption post-go-live. Foster cross-functional collaboration in support of the customer experience, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. Establish and maintain program governance, ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and compliance. Superior communication and leadership skills to co-ordinate cross-functional teams in support of rapid value delivery for our customers Skills and Qualifications 8 years of proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager, ideally within software implementation, SaaS, or professional services. 5 years of people management experience, including mentoring, coaching, and leading project teams. Experience managing customer-facing projects with a strong focus on client success and adoption. Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on project execution (hybrid player/coach approach). Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, or similar). Experience in risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Project Management certifications (PMP, PgMP, or Agile) are a plus.
