Year 4 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Braintree. This full-time role is to cover maternity leave and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a supportive school community with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 4 pupils, ensuring all students are challenged and supported.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils in line with the school’s policies.
* Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning, creativity, and respect.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour management in line with school policies.
* Engage with parents and carers to build strong partnerships and communicate effectively regarding pupil progress and development.
* Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching within the primary school setting, ideally at Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience preferred).
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
* A commitment to providing high-quality education and promoting the well-being of all students.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
