Connect Appointments have an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Rosyth-based client on a full-time permanent basis!
Working across a variety of mechanical products including motors and generators, the successful Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for:
* Conducting in-depth quality inspections during numerous stages of manufacturing
* Completing and updating relevant paperwork and documentation
* Producing key reports for different stakeholders
* Fault-finding and subsequent repairs
* Contributing to the improvement of internal processes
* Complying with set standards within the manufacturing and repair processes
The ideal Quality Assurance Engineer will have at least 5 years of experience within a QC/QA position, along with:
* HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Previous experience working to standards including IEEE, NEMA, ISO 9001
* The ability to interpret drawings and specifications
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
