Main duties of the job
As a Bank Support Worker, you will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life. Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends.

Where you will be working
Location: Aberbeeg, Abertillery, NP13 2DA
You will be working at Aberbeeg Hospital, a 12 bedded low secure service for men, ensuring that each person in your care receives an individualised formulation of needs and that the treatment delivered is appropriate. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will devise a collaborative twelve week therapeutic timetable and smart goals for service users, which is then reviewed and changed to reflect the development and achievements made for the next period of care. Aberbeeg is located within the boundaries of the county borough of Caerphilly, set in 11.5 acres of land with beautiful views of the Welsh countryside.
