Working for a European charity who specialise in the medical industry, you will join an innovate and highly regarded group of professionals who are experts in their field. You will support the planning and delivery of their flagship annual event and other specialist events that arise. Working within a small but specialist team, the role provides an exceptional opportunity for learning across event planning and logistics, ideally suiting a recent graduate with an interest in a career in events or project management. The role requires exceptional communication and organisational skills, attention to detail and a high level of professionalism. A minimum of a Bachelors level degree is also preferable. This role will be offered on a hybrid basis with 2 office-based days in the Windsor office and 3 remote working days. Salary £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, employee discount schemes, training and development. Duties: Project assistance to the Events Team Managers Act as a first point of contact for events enquiries Provide support with faculty - invitations, CVs, accommodation, travel Assist with the management of the online event programme, general information and industry pages as directed Registration processing as required Assist with venue research and supplier liaison including; catering, transport and housing, social programme and transportation Assist with the event accreditation management process Events market research Assist with the creation and distribution of event materials, working with in-house departments as well as external suppliers and contractors Registration support as necessary - delegate and Industry registrations, administering grant and fellowship applications, sending out joining instructions, post event surveys etc. On-site assistance as directed by supervisors (may include venues overseas) Skills and Experience required: Ability to provide effective organisation and administrative support across multiple, complex, cross organisational groups and projects Excellent written communication skills with a high attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently build and develop effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals Strong organisational skills and experience or an interest in organising events in particular Experience of working to deadlines and resilient under pressure Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential problems and resolve them effectively and independently as possible Proficient in the use of IT and online applications. Ability to use IT to create and edit a range of documents and materials is essential Interested and proficient in the use of social media to market / promote activities Ability to organise and prioritise own workload effectively Commitment to working collaboratively and flexibly as part of a team. Desirable - Experience of working in events and / or with medical professionals
