Help keep our organisation running effectively!
Join our Finance Team, we’re involved in a wide range of activities from looking after the accounts to providing a range of services that keep our organisation running effectively.
As our Finance Assistant, you’ll provide confidential financial and administrative support to the team at the East Midlands Special Operations Unit.
Using your administrative skills and eye for detail, you will be assisting with the day-to-day administration of budgets, financial estimates, and transactions.
This role is part time, 21 hours per week on a fixed term contract until August 2025, with the potential to become permanent.
What you’ll be doing
* Preparing monthly reports, statistics, and data
* Raising invoices and checking and calculating payments
* Maintaining and reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and cash accounts
The must haves
* Experience working within an administrative role
* Experience of working with and managing financial activities including purchase orders, invoicing, and budgets
* Be proactive and able to work to changing deadlines
