About the role:
As Head of Capital Markets, you’ll work closely with the Group Treasurer and Head of Project Finance to analyse and arrange financing across loans, bonds, credit facilities in the corporate and project finance space. You’ll be responsible for preparation, development, analysis and reporting of financial and treasury information. You’ll also have responsibility for a broad spectrum of corporate finance activities covering credit ratings analysis, covenant compliance and Group CAPEX financing programmes.
Day to Day you’ll also be monitoring, analysing and reporting on derivative and other relevant markets, to identify and capture trading windows and provide management information.
Providing analytical support and cover where necessary for the Treasury Managers as required, in areas including, reporting, FX and MM management dealing. Support the Group Treasurer in any other treasury projects.
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) or treasury professional (AMCT) with extensive post qualification experience, ideally within FTSE250 or equivalent with corporate treasury experience. A background in the energy / utilities / infrastructure sector would be advantageous.
Experience of assessment of short and long-term funding or large capital projects is needed. Experience in using a Treasury Management System is preferred. You’ll be a self-starter who is commercially aware and action oriented, with excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills. You’ll also demonstrate line management experience, as you’ll be responsible for 1 head in the treasury team.
