Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and stimulating Design Technology lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11) in line with the National Curriculum. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students can develop their design and practical skills effectively (planning, construction, using a variety of materials and tools). Encourage creativity and problem-solving skills, fostering a culture of experimentation and innovation in the design process. Contribute to the ongoing development of the Design Technology curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision, national requirements, and the latest advancements in design education (e.g., integrating technology, sustainability principles). Create and maintain a safe and well-organized learning environment in the workshop. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for relevant examinations and assessments.
