Enterprise BDR (SaaS)
You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.
Up to £45.000 + commissions (£60K OTE)
Hertfordshire 2 days a week with 1 day in central London
I’ve partnered with a super exciting SaaS scaleup seeking an ambitious, articulate, and organized Enterprise BDR to join their high-performing sales team in Hertfordshire.
Here's what you'll be doing with my client:
* Get creative about how they reach out to the right people. You'll find clever ways to connect with decision-makers who might genuinely benefit from what you offer. No spray-and-pray approaches here – they are after quality conversations.
* Work side-by-side with the Sales Director to build smart targeting strategies. Together, you'll figure out which companies you should be talking to and the best ways to start those conversations.
* Be a bit of a detective. You'll dig deep to understand who the key players are in each company and what keeps them up at night. The goal? Spot where you could actually make their lives easier.
* Make those first vital connections. You'll reach out to potential partners, have initial conversations to understand their needs, and identify if there might be a good fit for a deeper conversation with your senior team.
* Keep track of what's working (and what isn't). Using our sales tools, you'll measure your outreach efforts and constantly fine-tune your approach.
You'll Thrive with my client If You
* Have dipped your toes in B2B SaaS sales development (ideally a year or more) - but your attitude matters more than the exact number of years
* Can naturally connect the dots between business challenges and potential solutions
* Write authentic emails that people actually want to read and aren't afraid to pick up the phone to start a conversation
* Are comfortable with not every call going your way - it's about learning and improving, not obsessing over every outcome
* Love being a bit of a detective - researching companies, understanding their world, and spotting opportunities
* Are comfortable with tech - my client uses modern sales tools and CRMs to work smarter, not harder
* Get excited about learning new things and aren't afraid to try, fail, and learn
* Have a creative side - whether you've done theatre, music, public speaking, or just love storytelling. This isn't essential, but they've found it helps!
Why This Role is Different
Here's the real deal:
* You're joining them at the beginning. As their second BDR, you'll help shape how they do things - your ideas and input will matter from day one
* Their Sales Director will be invested in your success - you'll get direct mentorship and support, not just occasional check-ins
* They're based in Hertfordshire, but they believe in balance - come in 3 days a week, 2 in Hertfordshire and 1 in central London, work from home the rest of the week.
* They reward success properly - base salary plus uncapped commission because they believe in celebrating wins
* They'll invest in your growth - proper training and development, not just a dusty handbook
* Join a team that actually means it when they say we value fresh thinking and working together
