Responsibilities: As a Teacher of Design and Technology, you will: Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across a range of DT disciplines (e.g., product design, resistant materials, graphics, or food technology). Foster students’ creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills. Plan, prepare, and assess work to meet curriculum standards and promote student progress. Use a variety of teaching techniques to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Maintain and manage resources, including tools and equipment, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. Support and motivate students to achieve their full potential in both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. Requirements: As a Teacher of Design and Technology, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications. Specialisation in Design and Technology or a related field. Experience teaching DT at secondary school level. Strong communication and classroom management skills. A passion for creativity and innovation in education.
