As a Supplies Assistant at Partnering Health Limited (PHL), your role is to support the Assistant Supplies Manager in the effective management of all supplies, ensuring safe delivery of services. As an integral team member, you will be accountable for completing the tasks set out for you, helping to create a respectful environment in which to work and ensuring supplies processes adhere to our value of caring for our patients.
Supplies Assistant Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all recorded data is accurate and on the correct forms
* To ensure all Medication and Consumables boxes are thoroughly checked, maintained to a high standard and are appropriately and accurately recorded
* Report stock issues to Assistant Supplies Manager
* Replenish each box as per service specifications
* Ensure all items supplied to boxes are checked for expiry dates and are labelled correctly
* Ensure there is always sufficient stock to provide the safe delivery of service
* Ensure all items are used in stock rotation to ensure reduced wastage due to expiry dates
* Report any issues or concerns to the Assistant Supplies Manager
* To undertake any other reasonable requests assigned by the Senior Management Team or Admin and Supplies Manager
* Complete weekly runs to outlying bases to replenish medication and consumable boxes
* Collection of medication from suppliers
Supplies Assistant Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in stock or supplies management highly desirable
* Be able to prioritise activities is essential
* Previous experience in adhering to strict protocols desirable due to the medications under our control
* Knowledge of Microsoft office package
* The ability to meet standards and maintain those standards will be important for the successful completion of the job.
* The ability to work under pressure as an individual and a key team member when required
* Can work with numbers
* Holds a Full Driving License
Hours: 37.5 (08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday)
