After School Senior Support Worker
12.5 hours per week
Term Time Only
Monday to Friday (3.00pm – 5.30pm)
Salary Grade C Scale Point 5 - 8
We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic After School Senior Support Worker. The successful candidate will be a dedicated person who will encourage and engage with the children. Applicants must have the patience to work with young children and a willingness to organise games and activities in line with the school’s policy for enrichment activities. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with staff, parents, and pupils.
Our Before and After School Club provides provision for 3 to 11 year olds, offering a safe, stimulating environment for children, with creative and appropriate play opportunities.
The post holder will ideally hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years and Childcare and/or Play qualification or be willing to work towards it. Current working experience of leading and managing a team of staff is essential. Experience of working in a similar setting – Out of Hours or Lunch Time Provision is required. The post holder will be trained as an appointed First Aider.
They will support the Club Manager to lead a team of out of hours support staff in planning and delivering an excellent service, ensuring high standards are maintained.
