Associate Director Project Manager
RPS are seeking an Associate Director level Project Manager with proven experience in delivering challenging projects to complement our rapidly growing team in our Birmingham office. What you’ll be doing
1. Leading a team of Project Managers and Mentoring and coaching more junior members of the team
2. Taking the lead on client relationships within the sector
3. Cost planning, this will include producing cost plans for commercial purposes
4. Preparation of tender documents
5. Preparing Construction Documents
6. Preparation of reports through the project process
7. Pre and post contract duties on a variety of public and commercial projects
8. Visiting sites to conduct assessment of interim valuations and final accounts
9. Perform the role of employer’s agent or contract administration services
Who we’re looking for
1. Working knowledge of JCT Contract
2. Ability to implement the principles of construction contract practice
3. A strong desire to learn and develop professional skills
4. Excellent time management and organisation skills
5. Excellent report writing and communication skills
6. IT skills - Excel essential
7. Strong Health and Safety awareness
8. Pragmatic approach and ability to amend planned activities at short notice
