Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Band 7 specialist nurse within the Rotherham Specialist Palliative Care team. The post is designed to provide specialist palliative care knowledge and support to patients, carers and health and social care professionals. The multi-disciplinary team is forever developing and is committed to providing gold standard care to patients within the hospital setting. This is a rare opportunity to join our dynamic team working collaboratively with other professionals to deliver a demanding but rewarding service Main duties of the job The post holder will be an autonomous practitioner whilst working as part of the Specialist Palliative Care and with the wider Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) The post holder e will provide high quality specialist palliative care (direct and indirect) and advice to patients, carers and professionals in line with national and local guidance Clinical leadership and support will be provided by the Palliative care Consultant, Lead Nurse for palliative care and deputy Chief Nurse.
