Hours per week: Morning shifts, 9.5 hours per week. Exact days and times to be discussed at interview, preferably 4 x 2 hour shifts in the week and 1x 1.5 hour shift at the weekend.
Hourly pay rate: £13.50 per hour
I am a young lady with a physical disability, who has recently graduated from studying Fashion Design at University. I am currently looking for work and need a personal assistant to support me at home getting ready in the mornings. This might include tasks such as assisting me to pack my bag, making sandwiches, tying my hair up, assisting with dressing, makeup and jewellery and tidying up. Typing skills would be desirable to support with my work.
I am looking for a personal assistant who is patient, and able to wait for and then follow my instructions.
Duties include:
Personal grooming
Housekeeping
Cooking
Candidate qualities:
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Flexible, reliable, honest
You will be required to provide one professional reference and one character/personal reference.
Additional information:
1. Do household tasks such as laundry and tidying up.
2. Be available if I have an event to attend.
3. Assist with schoolwork, including typing.
4. Be available and willing to travel with me if I need assistance while going away.
5. Inform me in advance if you have to go somewhere.
