Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator
Location: Kidderminster (Office-based)
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (No weekends)
Responsibilities:
* Source high-quality ingredients/products to meet customer requirements.
* Build and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers.
* Monitor market trends to secure the best deals for the company.
* Handle price enquiries and communicate cost changes to the team.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and increased efficiency.
* Oversee stock levels to prevent over/under stocking.
* Raise purchase orders using Sage 200 (training provided).
* Support new marketing initiatives and explore business opportunities.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years' purchasing experience.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* IT proficiency, including Outlook, Sage 200, and ACT (training available).
* Good understanding of customer needs (price, quality, availability).
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Team player with the ability to meet deadlines
