As an energetic intake operative on the evening shift (4pm - midnight), you will be responsible for: Unloading supplies from incoming lorries. Booking loads onto computerised Protean System. Stock control duties. Updating Scanvaegt and Protean Computerised systems Carrying out product temperature checks and recording information. Responsibility for personal Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of other workers. To ensure that quality standards within the factory are maintained. To ensure that hygiene standards within the factory are maintained. Provision of a service to other areas of the factory. Physical Conditions The job is performed mainly in a chilled factory area and involves extensive periods standing. The incumbent is required to operate effectively. It is imperative that the job incumbent is aware of health and safety regulations and adheres to them. What You Will Need Must be literate and numerate and have a good level of education. Must be able to think clearly. Good manual dexterity is essential. Good communication skills are essential. The ability to work on own initiative is essential. Ability to complete paper based records essential. Computer literacy with the ability to use Word & Excel is essential. An awareness of the importance of Health and Safety, Hygiene etc. is required. Previous work experience in a food factory is desirable. The ability to work to tight time-tables is desirable. Good interpersonal skills are desirable.
