Our UK Financial Reporting Team are now looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team in Edinburgh, where you assist in preparing accurate accounting records of companies for statutory and regulatory purposes, this is a perfect first step position for those looking to join our team. You will: Assist in the production of monthly financial accounts. Support in the recording and settlement of intercompany balances. Ensure maintenance and daily updating of accounting records e.g. bank recs and liquidity checks. Assist in the preparation of billing for clients on a periodic basis as required. Ensure the successful processing of Purchase invoices as required by ARIBA system. Ensure that purchase invoices from the wider AAM business are processed promptly and are adequately reviewed for Bribery Act purposes. Ensure that daily client money checks are carried out to ensure that any client money within AAM company bank accounts is identified and treated appropriately within the applicable timescales. Liaise within Finance and with Client Management to ensure control of debtors. Liaise with the wider business to ensure income is processed in an accurate and timely manner. Document processes, review them for continued suitability and make recommendations for improvement.
