As Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the manager in all maintenance operations, including maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. The Role: You will be responsible for carrying out any repair or rectifying any maintenance issues throughout the hotel as and when they arise You will respond to and attend to guest repair requests You will perform preventative maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical equipment You will be an excellent communicator and build excellent relationships with departments across the hotel Assist with maintaining the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical, mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc Assist with energy saving and green initiatives within the hotel Assist with inventory organisation and ordering Ensure building and equipment licenses and certifications are current Maintain property life safety systems, fire fighting equipment, sprinkler systems and alarm systems Deliver memorable guest experiences which support in driving Intent to recommend scores Monitor and analyse guest satisfaction survey results to ensure these continually improve Work alongside front office and housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrival Ensure hotel and team are using Transcendent Maintenance system Ensue all guest complaints are resolved in a timely manor and logged correctly Anticipate guest needs to deliver an above and beyond experience Prepare departmental rota’s, ordering and payroll inline with budget Contact contractors for bids and supervising construction to ensure timely completion of projects within budgetary guidelines Selects and orders or purchasing new equipment, supplies, and furnishings.
