Hays are delighted to be working in partnership with a logistics organisation based in the heart of Renfrewshire. Thepany is looking to add an additional HR Assistant to their team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created post reporting directly to the HR Manager.
Your new role
1. You will be responsible for HR administrative and payroll processing.
2. Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR function
3. Providing first line support to managers and directing them to correct policies and procedures
4. Supporting with attendance and absence issues
5. Uploading job posts, organising interviews and raising contracts
6. Organising training sessions
7. Note-taking in meetings
What you'll need to succeed
8. 3–5 years demonstrated experience working in an HR environment or team
9. CIPD or relevant practical work experience
10. Experience within logistics, supply chain or manufacturing would be an advantage, but not essential.
11. Working with highly confidential and sensitive information.
