Finance & Customer Service Manager
Job Description
Reporting into the Managing Director and working alongside the existing management team, the role will entail the following:
1. Reporting to Managing Director and external chartered accountant
2. Sale order processing
3. Knowledge of Sage 50/200 preferred
4. VAT returns and annual returns
5. Monthly management reports for sales team & operations
6. Review and approve vendor agreements
7. Maintain debtor & creditors ledgers
8. Cover both our UK & US businesses
9. Invoice updating & processing
10. Prepare financial statements and management accounts
11. Monitor spending and budgets
12. Variance analysis and preparing cash flow reports
13. Analyze the company’s financial performance
14. Forecast and plan future spending and profits
15. Recommend ways to reduce costs and increase profits
16. Manage the finance department to ensure that the finance function is operating smoothly and all work is being completed accurately and timely
17. Week and month end reporting
18. Reconcile Banks GBP/EUR/USD
19. Allocate payments from Shopify/Amazon/PayPal
20. Credit Control
21. Supplier Invoices and payment runs
22. Processing Payroll journals – calculated by external company, entering and paying expenses, processing and reconciling credit card statements and management reports
23. Prepayments and accruals
The Ideal Candidate:
Ideally a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar accounting role and the ability to take initiative in helping to set up various systems.
Proficient in Sage & Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Ability to organize your own workload.
Qualified or part qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA (Advantageous)
Salary: £30,000 P.A.
