Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Lowerplace Primary School is a vibrant and highly ambitious school located in Rochdale (three form entry transitioning to two form). We are seeking to appoint a teacher to join our friendly and supportive team to cover a maternity leave. The position would be based initially in Year 3 starting in April 2025. Experience of working in KS2 is desirable.

You will:
1. Be an experienced teacher with a very good understanding of how children learn.
2. Understand the importance of using assessment for learning to raise standards and improve pupil achievement.
3. Contribute to the hardworking, dedicated and caring ethos of the school and build positive relations with children, colleagues, parents and governors.
4. Have a good understanding of statutory assessments and preferably have experience in this area.
