Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with a leading engineering company located in Grimsby, that specialise in the welding and fabrication of boats, containers, vessels and cargos for the industrial markets.
Due to the latest expansion within their fabrication department, we are now looking for skilled MARINE WELDERS to join their established team. You will become part of a team working on new projects.
Located at one of their sites in Grimsby, you will be working alongside experienced and qualified Welders and Fabricators building units as part of a unified team.
Successful candidates will be working in an environment that will challenge you physically and mentally, making the days pass quickly. There is opportunity for workers to earn bonuses based on jobs being completed in a certain time frame. Also, overtime is available at competitive rates, to allow for even more increased earning potential.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* 3 years Marine Welding Experience, preferably within an Industrial environment
* Working with mild steel and stainless steels
* Conversant with Engineering drawings
* Able to use workshop machinery
* FLT licence preferable
Qualifications and Skills:
An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable.
