Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook/Server to join our vibrant team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for both food preparation and serving, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional culinary experiences. You will play a key part in maintaining food safety standards while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
2. Open up and serve breakfast menu.
3. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in meal preparation.
4. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices within the kitchen.
5. Collaborate with all staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
6. Serve food and beverages to customers, providing excellent customer service at all times.
7. Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
8. Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
9. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome enthusiastic individuals willing to learn.
2. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary skills is essential.
3. Knowledge of food safety standards is essential.
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
5. A passion for cooking and providing excellent service is highly valued.
