We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in the PR25 area of Preston, seeking a Year 5 Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting September 2025.
About the Role:
This is a full-time teaching role in a vibrant Year 5 classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, marking, and contributing to the wider school community, including attending staff meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
* Strong classroom management skills and a positive approach
* Ability to plan engaging lessons and track pupil progress effectively
* A team player committed to upholding school values and supporting colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
