As part of the rapidexpansion of our Historic Environment Team Lanpro has an excitingopportunity available for ambitious Historic EnvironmentConsultants to join the team at a Principal Level. We are lookingfor experienced enthusiastic and driven consultants with abackground in archaeology and heritage who wish to further developtheir careers on major development projects. This could be basedout of our Edinburgh office or working remotely with some officeattendance when required but the roles would provide for flexibleworking.
We are looking forcommercially aware talented and motivated individuals who are keento take on new challenges to provide solid and consistent advice toour clients. Developing business as part of the companys overallgrowth strategy both regionally and nationally will be central tothe roles.
You will have an enthusiastic independent andproactive attitude to your work and will undertake a range ofresponsibilities including providing consultancy advice producingand managing the production of deskbased assessments and heritagestatements. You will have experience of working as part of an EIAteam preferably for largescale residential commercial and renewableenergy schemes including authoring Cultural Heritage EnvironmentalStatements. We are also looking for experience of providing proofsof evidence and written representations for planningappeals.
You will also advise and workclosely with other members of the wider Lanpro team acrossdisciplines. An excellent understanding of relevant local andnational planning policy and legislation is required. Experience atpublic inquiry level is desirable.
