What is the job role? We are seeking to appoint a competent and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in our school from September 2025. We are a friendly and inclusive school with a happy and motivated staff working towards the best outcomes for our children. Who are we looking for? We are looking to appoint someone who:- Has a record of delivering high quality teaching and learning in a primary school setting; Is knowledgeable about the Primary National Curriculum and has taught a range of subjects; Is competent and confident to teach pupils within a specific phase KS1, Lower KS2 or Upper KS2; Has a positive approach to behaviour management and promotes a ‘can do’ attitude; Has high expectations of themselves and others; Can work as part of a team and is an effective communicator; Is organised and can use initiative as needed; Wishes to continue to develop as a professional. The successful candidate will be hardworking, enthusiastic, flexible, versatile and able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be based in a Key Stage Phase, but will also be required to deliver planned learning to classes within your phase to cover PPA fortnightly and to support teaching and learning.
