Our client is on the search for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a flagship site. You will join one of the largest building service providers in the UK who are well renowned for progressing their engineers with additional training and career development. You will be working on a commercial property in Chesterford on a fixed Monday - Friday pattern, (8am-5pm)
In this role you will be expected to undergo PPM and reactive maintenance tasks and respond to any on site emergencies. To be successful in this role you will need to be a motivated individual who is prepared to thrive in a client facing environment. You will also have to be fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent). To succeed in this role you will also need to have at least three years experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within commercial maintenance.
Duties:
PPM (Planned preventative maintenance) & Reactive maintenance
AHUs
FCUs
Pumps - Bearings, Mechanical Seals
Sprinkler Systems
Water Treatment (Tap Tests, Dosing, Cooling Tower Checks, etc).
Tap Temperatures
Chilled Water Systems
Plumbing
Generators
Pressurisation units
BMS Operation
Requirements:
Mechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ (or equivalent)
Apprentice trained - desirable
Building Services Maintenance experience
Very Client facing
Salary and Benefits:
£40,000 - £42,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 8 -5
