Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Domiciliary Manager to oversee the delivery of exceptional care to our clients in Croydon. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of domiciliary care workers, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintaining high standards of care. Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Manage, support, and supervise a team of domiciliary care workers, ensuring that care standards are maintained and staff are adequately trained.
Care Planning: Oversee the creation, implementation, and review of care plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all services are compliant with CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards and other relevant regulatory bodies, conducting regular audits and assessments.
Client Engagement: Develop strong relationships with clients and their families, ensuring their needs are being met and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
Staff Recruitment & Training: Lead recruitment efforts to hire qualified care staff, and ensure ongoing training and development to enhance team capabilities.
Operational Management: Manage rotas, oversee scheduling, and ensure proper allocation of resources to meet client care requirements efficiently.
Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets for the care services provided, ensuring financial sustainability.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring that all care and staff documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Health & Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, creating a safe environment for both staff and clients.
Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, working to continuously improve the service provided. Requirements:
Qualifications:
Registered Manager with a relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent).
Current DBS check.
Proven experience in managing domiciliary care services, with knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
Strong understanding of person-centered care principles.
Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a senior managerial or leadership role within a domiciliary care setting.
Experience in staff management, care planning, and budgeting.
Knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices within domiciliary care.
Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
