We know we need to extend our footprint within existing clients. Across the group we have a compelling set of offers and we need to get our clients much better visibility of what we can do. Our strategic account relationship managers will be crucial to make sure this happens. Your role will be as a relationship manager for one of our strategic accounts. You will spend much of your time on client site, listening to the client, talking with them about what we do, understanding our current delivery and helping shape new delivery opportunities through a greater understanding of what our client’s big business problems are. You will build strong, long lasting relationships across the client, including and up to CXO level. You will become a trusted advisor, the first person the client seeks when they need help, an opinion or just someone to test their thinking with. You will own the account sales and relationship management strategy (incl. marketing) and budget. Within the account you will partner with our Engagement Leads across the account to drive relationship management activity and gather client insights. Together as a team you will look for opportunities to upsell and cross sell. You will resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively. What you’ll bring This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in managing complex relationships at multiple levels. You will be an articulate communicator credible at a C-Suite Level Experience of managing relationships with FTSE companies is highly desirable This role will involve a wide range of engagement from partnering to help create their responsible business strategy to driving deeper and broader partnership with clients in order to execute against it. A strong ability to help the clients solve their problems, and see rapidly how we can help here Experience: You will have a significant depth of industry knowledge in one or more of our target markets. In this market you will already have gained experience of managing client relationships. You will have a strong track record of turning these relationships into sales. Personal attributes: To be successful you’ll be intellectually strong with an excellent academic background, highly motivated, a self-starter, bringing a proactive, can-do attitude to project delivery and sales, capable of working independently as well as in teams in our collaborative but sometimes demanding project and client environment. You’ll need to be credible, with the gravitas to engage effectively with C-level / CXOs on a peer to peer basis. You will need to be able to demonstrate empathy with our clients and an ability to use this empathy to develop deep long-lasting relationships. You will be a Network /connector type role – brings in others regularly from across the group. You will be a team player, focused on delivering a brilliant result not necessarily your individual success. Whilst you will have London as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice. We offer a remuneration package which includes fixed salary, and in addition for Senior Consultant and above, you will receive variable compensation dependent on company and personal performance.
