Browns More Hair Now Ltd is proud to be Britain's longest established, independent wigmaker with over 100 years knowledge and understanding in making and fitting of wigs. The very ethos of Browns More Hair Now Ltd is integrity and respect and we are always aware of the sensitivity that is a paramount requirement when facilitating the replacement of hair. We provide our wig service to private and NHS clients throughout the United Kingdom which includes England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
The role
To provide an exemplary wig fitting consultation service for NHS patients and retail customers in our Treliske clinic location. Maintaining and developing relationships within dedicated NHS Trusts. To support the expansion of the Browns fitting service to Browns client base as well as charities and new hospital Trusts.
About you
You must be of a compassionate and empathic nature, with the ability to work with people who are experiencing hair loss. You will undertake training with the Area Manager allowing you to fit and style both synthetic and human hair wigs. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and able to handle the sensitive nature of this job.
Responsibilities and requirements:
* To facilitate the provision of professional, compassionate consultations.
* Ensure that the fitting for each client is tailored to their individual needs, undertaking alterations where required.
* To ensure all clinic environments are maintained to a high standard.
* 2+ years of hairdressing experience.
* Previous experience fitting and styling synthetic and human hair wigs is a plus, but not required.
* To facilitate home visits as required.
* Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to the clinic.
* Ability to store and transport wig stock in your car and at home.
* Constantly building and maintaining good relationships with key contacts within your linked NHS Trusts and charity partners.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Able to work well as part of a team.

Pay: £12.60-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
