We are seeking a talented individual to join our UK Risk Management Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in the UK. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Business Analyst will be the leading interface and point of liaison between the UK Risk Management Operations BA team and business stakeholders, as well as IT/3rd Party Software Houses (SWHs), to optimally integrate business processes, solutions, and technology from design through to implementation and transition into BAU.
We will count on you to:
1. Conduct comprehensive analysis of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
2. Develop and document detailed process maps and flowcharts to visualise existing workflows.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their pain points and business needs.
4. Contribute to design and implementation of the target operating model that aligns with the strategic goals of the organisation.
5. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and feedback from various colleagues and departments.
6. Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on business operations and recommend solutions to optimise performance.
7. Prepare and present visuals, artefacts, reports, and recommendations to senior management.
8. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented process improvements.
9. Where required, collect business requirements for new systems/system upgrades working with IT & business stakeholders.
10. Stay updated with insurance industry trends, best practices in business & process analysis, and business modelling.
What you need to have:
1. Superb communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate across project/programme teams and with the business to Executive level.
2. Experience in insurance applications, including end-to-end processes, testing, workflow management, and financial transactions.
3. A solid understanding of insurance technology to support business strategy in line with the insurance underwriting lifecycle.
