Year 4 Teacher Part-time ASAP start A school situated in Rugby (Coventry side) is looking for a teacher to join their KS2 team on a part-time basis from February half-term until July. Cover is required in their Year 4 class, from Wednesday to Friday each week - this can be with or without planning. There will be an element of report writing as you will be teaching the class the majority of the week, but it will, of course, be shared with the other class teacher. If you decide to plan, you'll be paid according to your scale point. UPS will not be paid due to the teacher not having any additional responsibilities. Observing behaviour and ensuring all children are following the behavioural policy and any other issues to be reported back to the Teacher - any safeguarding issues please report to the on-duty DSL. What you'll need to succeed You must have a good knowledge of the lower KS2 national curriculum. You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so. You must have experience teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.
