After another busy season and a growing number of projects we are seeking enthusiastic ecologists to join our team Do you have a genuine interest in ecology, conservation and protected species? We carry out a range of varied projects and offer the opportunity to become involved in conservation and research projects. You’ll have the opportunity to work on advanced bat projects using specialist bat surveying techniques, trapping and radiotracking rare species, and getting involved in the new Earned Recognition licencing with Natural England. We’re looking for experienced ecologists who are passionate about their work and eager to contribute to a variety of projects. Someone who is self-organised, able to work independently and as part of a team, and capable of working flexible hours as required by the surveys conducted. The role will include managing projects from quotation to invoicing, undertaking surveys, liaising with clients, data analysis and producing reports, as well as working with the team on larger projects. For this role we are looking for a motivated candidate who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience of phase 1 habitat and protected species assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain calculations and report writing skills and experience, as well as at least 1 protected species licence. Holding EPS licences is desirable. CIEEM Associate or Full membership – or eligibility to join at this level. A full, clean driving licence is required. Competitive salary in the region of £30-£40k PA pro rata dependent on experience and role.
