The post holder will work predominantly at Calderdale Royal Hospital managing both the Materials Management team and the Receipt & Distribution Team. This is a vital role ensuring that wards and departments receive their medical/surgical consumable stock effectively. The post holder will also support materials management assistants that are aligned to inventory managed areas. The need to work at pace whilst ensuring accuracy is critical toensure clinical staff have the necessary medical/surgical clinical consumables to deliver healthcare. Main duties of the job Be responsible for the organising, supervising and motivating of the Materials Management teams and Receipt & Distribution teams across sites. On a routine regular basis, ensure that goods are replenished on the wards / clinical areas via an effective 'top-up' service. Provide a source of information and specialist advice to customers and generally act as a focal point for all communication.
