Role Overview: As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will: Teaching and Curriculum: Deliver inspiring and engaging Religious Studies lessons to students up to GCSE level, with the possibility of teaching A-Level for the right candidate. Develop and adapt curriculum materials in line with school objectives and national standards, ensuring high-quality, inclusive teaching for all students. Student Progress: Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback that fosters both academic achievement and personal growth. Use data from assessments to guide teaching, address learning gaps, and provide tailored support to meet the diverse needs of students. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing reflective practice and contribute to the development of the Religious Studies department and wider school improvement plans. Participate in the school community, supporting extracurricular activities, school events, and initiatives that promote student engagement and development. Candidate Requirements: Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related discipline (desirable). Experience: Experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary school level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are warmly encouraged to apply.
