Epidemiologist
Location: Fully Remote in the UK
Contract: 6 months, Inside IR35
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Are you an experienced Epidemiologist looking for your next challenge? Our client is seeking a skilled professional to provide epidemiology leadership in real-world studies, supporting projects from early clinical development to post-approval research.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and implementation of epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology studies using real-world data.
* Develop study protocols, statistical analysis plans, and reports, ensuring scientific rigor.
* Provide input on feasibility assessments, study designs, and regulatory submissions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality research and insights.
* Act as a project lead on smaller assignments or support senior staff on larger initiatives.
* Contribute to business development and best practice initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
* Master’s or Ph.D. in Epidemiology, Pharmacoepidemiology, Public Health, or a related field.
* Proven experience in designing and conducting observational studies on drug safety, effectiveness, and real-world evidence.
* Hands-on experience with developing study protocols for deliverables.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret statistical outputs.
* Excellent communication and medical writing skills.
* Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work in a matrixed environment.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with SAS, R, or similar tools.
