Bradfield College is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Swimming Teacher to support our very busy Children’s Swimming Lesson Programme that takes place at weekends during the school term and some school holidays/half-terms.
The College enjoys a well-established reputation for being one of the country’s leading co-educational, independent schools. Our impressive Sports Complex and Indoor Tennis Centre operate as busy dual-use facilities, catering for both the College and external users.
The successful candidate will be required to teach swimming lessons on a regular basis on a Sunday afternoon and also assist with ad hoc cover. We follow the Swim England ASA programme teaching from Ducklings to Stage 10.
You will need a Level 1 & 2 Swimming Teachers’ Certificate, and the National Rescue Award would also be desirable but not essential. You will need to be welcoming and flexible in your approach and be able to work well within a team environment.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate that they can communicate well with young children and have empathy in their approach, alongside good time keeping and organisation skills.
This is a part time role, working Sunday afternoons and school holidays.
