Job Description
This position is responsible for the supervision of the work of a team of kitchen personnel in the commissary/central production unit, thereby maintaining high standards of food preparation in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead the production team in the preparation of high-quality recipes and associated menu items.
* Implement and maintain standardized recipes, portion control, and cooking procedures to ensure consistency across all outlets.
* Stock/Inventory Management
* Conduct regular quality checks
* Implement and enforce health and safety standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Conduct regular equipment maintenance and oversee cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
* Develop and test new menu items.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
* Proven experience in a high volume restaurant or production kitchen setting
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong proven leadership qualities and management skills
* Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
* More than 5 years experience in the same role.
