Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust
Teign Ward is a 30 bedded inpatient ward within Newton Abbot Community Hospital providing care, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care to patients following an acute illness and treatment in the acute hospital or admitted directly via their own GP.
One of the most rewarding aspects of the role is getting to know some of the patients over a long period of time. You get to be part of a treatment plan bespoke to them and sometimes part of their return to a level of life-enhancing functionality. With specialist treatments, the department also plays a huge part in preventing hospital admissions.
In your role, you will be supported with your development needs both from in-house training and also from external courses whilst having regular supervision and appraisal to ensure you are helped to reach your maximum potential and development.
Our people are caring, committed, inclusive, and focused on quality. We focus on solutions and people's strengths and encourage outside-the-box thinking and embrace innovation and change wherever it can drive improvement. If you share our values and vision and are passionate about working with people on what matters to them, you could be a real asset to our Torbay and South Devon Team. #CareToJoinUsTSD
