About the Role
As the Subject Leader of Art, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the artistic direction of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a thriving art department, inspiring both students and staff to achieve their full creative potential. You'll be responsible for fostering a love of art, delivering an innovative curriculum, and ensuring that the department continues to excel.

Position Details:
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Permanent, full time
Pay scale: Teachers Main/Upper Pay Range (MPR/UPR) plus TLR 2B - £5,648
Essential Requirements :
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
* Experience in leading or managing a team is desirable

Responsibilities
* Lead the Art department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
* Develop and implement a creative and engaging art curriculum.
* Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in Art.
* Oversee the planning, delivery, and assessment of lessons.
* Monitor and support the academic progress of students across key stages.
* Organise and lead extracurricular art activities, clubs, and exhibitions.
* Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community.
* Coordinate the display of student artwork around the school.
* Act as a role model for creativity, innovation, and enthusiasm.
* Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
