Field Service Technician
£18.51 per hour
2-month contract from March

Summary of Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT services and equipment within your assigned Hub and surrounding spokes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Queue Ticket Management: Efficiently manage and update tickets assigned to your Hub, ensuring service levels are maintained as per the contract.
2. Hub Stock Management: Oversee asset management, including scanning items in and out of locations, in accordance with contractual obligations.
3. Disposal Management: Effectively manage the disposal of equipment through your Hub, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
4. Hardware Repairs: Triage and perform hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment, liaising with vendors for parts and returns as needed.
5. Locker Replenishments: Replenish lockers with necessary equipment as per contractual agreements.
6. Service Improvement: Identify and highlight potential service issues or improvements to your Team Leader.
Essential Requirements:
1. Security Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain SC clearance.
2. Nationality: Must be a UK National with a UK passport.
3. Availability: Must join the out-of-hours (OOH) rota and standby.
4. Driving Licence: Must have a full, clean driving licence.
5. Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a PC field service or PC field workshop environment.
6. Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, supporting, and repairing hardware, including complex laptop break/fix repairs.
7. Certifications: Accredited or willing to undergo training for HP and Dell desktop and laptop support.
